Oldskūl is a cosy, retro-inspired café surrounded by hundreds of vintage objects, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere where unforgettable memories are made.

Hales Market itself is an unconventional yet vibrant place to celebrate. As evening falls, the market transforms completely. The vendors pack away their goods, smoked delicacies are stored for the night, and the space comes alive with music, colourful lights, and the glow of the market's bars. The atmosphere becomes relaxed, lively, and unlike anywhere else in the city.

Hales Market is truly a unique setting for birthdays, private parties, and other special occasions.

The indoor space accommodates up to 20 guests. You'll have access to the café with its three tables, as well as the area directly in front of the café, which is perfect for setting up a buffet, drinks station, or even a dance floor with a DJ.

The café is available for private hire on both weekdays and weekends.

Rental rates

• 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm: €200
• 8:00 pm – 3:00 am: €350

You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Alternatively, we can arrange for a barista to prepare specialty coffee or cocktails for your guests (€20 per hour).

We also offer a coffee tasting experience, where you'll discover different coffee varieties and brewing methods while enjoying a guided tasting session. The price is €200.
